A counting chamber is a designated tool for determining the number of cells per unit volume in a suspension, with the hemocytometer being the most frequently employed type. Similarly, a Neubauer counting chamber can be used to calculate cell numbers in biological fluids by observing them through a calibrated grid on a microscope.
