The cuvette is designed with PTFE stopper caps for use in airtight sealing applications. Each cuvette comes with a PTFE stopper cap. The PTFE stopper creates an airtight seal to prevent evaporation and atmospheric contamination of the solutions.
IDEAL FOR ALL UV-VIS SPECTROMETERS & FLUROSCENCE
Accurate results for optical processing, UV-Vis-NIR absorbance and transmission. The unpolished two sides prevent slips from holding the cuvette during experiments. The efficient and high light transmission design allows light to easily travel and pass through the clear sides of the quartz cuvette. Measurement shows >83% light transmission from UV to near IR. It features a transparent and clear material surface for reliable results. If polished four sides, it can be used for fluorescent spectrometer.
DURABLE AND CONSISTENT
Each piece from the set is made of outstanding quality quartz glass for sustainable and durable built. Each piece is made with precise and uniform luster without leakage, bubbles, scratches and holes. LABART cuvettes are acid and alkali resistant with high temperature tolerance up to 600 degree Celsius.
WHAT DOES CUVETTE PATH LENGTH MEANS?
The optical path length of a cuvette is the distance light travels through the rectangular cuvette’s interior walls.
Example of Path Length ⇊
Note: The stopper should be inserted gently into the top of the cuvette; excessive force will cause difficulty with removing the stopper.
