This optical Brix Refractometer (brix meter) is designed to measure of synthetic machining coolants, maple sap, cutting liquid, CNC, etc. It can also measure total dissolved solids of Soup or Water-soluble glue. Provides a scale with 0-20% Brix in 0.2% division.

Uses the refractive index to determine sodium chloride concentration; analysis is simple & fast, requires few sample drops & takes about 1.5 sec per test which makes taking many measurements easy for an operator.
